Certificate Format:
- Certificate is composed of 5 courses:
- Exploring the Foundations and Principles of Faith, Health, and Wellness
- Exploring Contemporary Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Well Being Practices for Yourself, Congregation, & Community
- Communicating and Organizing for Health Ministry in Your Congregation
- Connecting People and Congregations to Health Resources & Understanding and Navigating Healthcare Structures and Systems
- Accountability, Professional Responsibility, and Legal Considerations for Health Ministry
- All 5 courses must be completed successful for Certificate completion.
- Certificate content includes readings, videos, discussion boards, quizzes, and assignments.
- Interactive optional Zooms are held with each course to enhance learning and engagement with the Certificate content and other students.
- Learning format is Online & mostly self-paced
- 30 contact hours
- Online certificate hours are not transferable to any Wesley Theological Seminary graduate degree.
Tuition Cost:
- $575 per person
- $25 non-refundable registration fee (must be submitted with registration form)
(A variety of scholarships are available, including one for United Methodists made possible from a grant from the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church)
